Built to Be Played

Identity

The Hartwood Resonator range is built around the unmistakable sound that made resonator guitars legendary, dry attack, strong midrange presence, and naturally punchy projection. Single cone construction delivers the metallic edge and expressive response associated with blues, folk, bluegrass, and slide playing, while carefully selected tonewoods add warmth, balance, and sustain. Electro models expand the range further with built-in mini humbuckers for rich amplified tones that retain the character of the instrument. Across the range, the Resonator feels rooted in tradition while remaining versatile enough for modern players and recording setups.

Feel

In the hands, the Hartwood Resonator feels familiar, responsive, and easy to settle into. Satin-finished C-shaped necks provide a comfortable playing experience for both chord work and slide techniques, while laurel fretboards offer a smooth, articulate feel beneath the fingers. Parlour models add a more compact and lightweight playing experience, ideal for travel, smaller stages, or relaxed sessions at home. Bone nuts, vintage-style tuners, and ebony biscuit bridges provide dependable tuning stability and a natural playing response, allowing each model to feel expressive and reliable without losing its traditional resonator character.
